Chris Banon – Principle Advisor

Qualification: B.E. Civil, Municipal Eng. (Cert), Dip TRP.
Banon Consultants has now been established for 20 years. Chris is and will continue to be the Principal Advisor and therefore responsible for meeting clients’ needs.
In addition to his role in the family business Chris was also a Sessional Panel Member for Planning Panels Victoria from 1994 to 2013. Sessional panel members provide a source of expertise in particular fields in Chris's case planning and engineering and are appointed to a panel on an as required basis.

In 1997 Chris became an associate of Esler Associates (Surveyors, Civil Engineers Development Consultants) and still fulfils this role today. The role involves project management and supervision of residential development including water and sewerage works.

Prior to establishing Banon Consultants in 1994 Chris worked for 25 years in local government.He fulfilled the role of Shire Engineer and Chief Planner at the Shire of Romsey for 20 years until becoming the Deputy CEO Director of Planning and Development.

From 1974 to 1995 Chris was also the Chief Engineer for the Romsey-Lancefield Water Board.
With over 40 years’ experience in the town planning and civil engineering industry Chris's knowledge base is enormous. The many years have also provided him with access to a large network of experts in other fields which he can draw on as required to assist with meeting clients needs.
